Vision Understanding High-Capacity Transit Corridors

The Project Connect technical team, with input from the community and the Transit Working Group, developed nine potential high-capacity transit corridors to best prioritize the CAMPO region’s areas that have the highest chance for high-capacity transit success. The parameters used to evaluate the corridors included:

  • Existing transportation networks
  • Existing travel patterns
  • Location of CAMPO-recognized activity centers
  • Employment density
  • Population density

Identifying the High-Capacity Transit Corridors

The team gathered the data for each of the parameters to define
the general and flexible boundaries of the initial nine
high-capacity transit corridors:
