What's next for Austin Light Rail?
AUSTIN TRANSIT PARTNERSHIP IS THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CORPORATION RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING PROJECT CONNECT AND LEADING AUSTIN LIGHT RAIL.
Implementation of Austin Light Rail has begun, including the effort to secure federal funds. ATP held a series of Open House events to collect community input on station locations and design to advance environmental studies that support the federal process. With this feedback, work to advance light rail continues. ATP will share the Draft Environmental Impact Study for public review and comment in the fall of 2024.
Project Connect Ambassador Network
The Project Connect Ambassador Network (PCAN) is a network of transit enthusiasts in the Austin area that come together to share their thoughts and ideas on Project Connect with the project team.
